Boissevain native Terry McNamee carries Manitoba's hopes at this week's Cdn mixed curling championship which is being hosted
by Morris. Much was made of the fact that Morris is the smallest community to host a national curling championship. At Friday's
sponsor reception, all heads turned as native Manitoban and past Cdn Men's Champion and world
runner up Harvey Mazinke was introduced. Harvey took the occassion of the National Mixed
to come home and reconnect with the event, and with friends and family
Thanks for flying the curling flag, Harvey. I am looking forward to being there Saturday
night as Master of Ceremonies for the closing ceremonies. Let's meet in Morris this week.
