Manitoba has its first lab confirmed case of H-1-N-1 from this flu season.
Manitoba Health Minister Theresa Oswald made the announcement this morning.

There are confirmed cases of Influenza-A in all regions across Manitoba and Chief Provincial Public Health Officer Dr. Joel Kettner urges Manitobans there is still time to get the flu shot.

He notes the flu season could be around until the end of March and influenza can be nasty and severe.
Last year about 37 per cent of Manitobans got the flu shot.
