Last weekend's Summer Celebration was another huge success for the International Peace Garden, and now they're putting the final touches on to their next event, Gala in the Garden.

"We are very excited," shares CEO Tim Chapman. "This is the first Gala since 2019, so we're looking forward to a great evening; a night of food, drinks, entertainment, flowers to check out and of course, some auctions to raise some money for a good cause!"

Fundraising continues for the Peace Garden's capital campaign; the expansion to the Conservatory, and the completion of the new children's nature play area.  The capital campaign goal is $3.1 million CDN ($2.5 million USD).

"So, what's still ahead with the Conservatory is that with the interior construction being complete, there is now the development of the exterior and that includes a new events patio to the south of the building," explains Chapman. "So, that will really stretch abilities for different event rentals to be booked inside and outside.  There'll be more wedding capacity and potential for that south patio and really tie the whole structure together with the full experience."

"It's going to be a really fun evening," he says, "a lot of fun interaction both inside and out, so that folks can really enjoy that late August beauty that we're used to seeing here at the Garden!"

Tickets are available until Monday, August 21st.
