Breach of Peace

On June 18th at 7:06am police were called to a disturbance in the 1600 block of Victoria Avenue East. An 18-year-old male was highly intoxicated and belligerent. The male was arrested to prevent further issues and will be released once sober.

Breach of Release Order / Possession of a Controlled Substance

On June 18th at 8:46am police conducted a traffic stop in the 600 block of 8th Street. A vehicle held a 38-year-old male who was breaching a 24-hour curfew and had several outstanding warrants. The male was arrested with a court date of June 19th, 2024.

Robbery with a Weapon/ Robbery with Threats of Violence/Breach of Release Order X3

On June 18th at 11:27am police were called to an establishment on Middleton Avenue reporting a robbery. A male had pulled a knife demanding all the money in the till. Upon receiving approximately $300 cash he fled on foot. Brandon Police K-9 unit tracked the male to a nearby establishment. Video footage confirmed the suspect going into the secondary location and emerged in different clothing. Police arrested a 24-year-old male. He was found to be in breach of his release order stating he must live in Winnipeg, must notify the court of any changes, and must not be in possession of any weapons. He was held in custody with court on June 19th, 2024.  

Intoxicated Person

On June 19th at 2:52am police were called to a disturbance at a residence in the 100 block of 4th Street. An intoxicated 21-year-old male was arrested to prevent further breach of the peace. He will be released in the morning.

Arrest Warrant

On June 18th at 10:38pm police conducted a traffic stop in the 800 block of 1st Street. A 22-year-old female operating a vehicle was arrested due to an outstanding warrant for failure to attend court. The female was held in custody with a court date in the morning on June 19th, 2024.

Arrest Warrants

On June 18th at 11:40pm police conducted a traffic stop in the 100 block of Braecrest Drive. A 32-year-old female and a 24-year-old male were passengers in a vehicle and identified to each have various outstanding warrants. They were arrested and held in custody for court on June 19th, 2024.

Breach of Release Order

On June 19th at 2:27am police conducted a person's check in the 400 block of 9th Street. A 25-year-old male was found to be in breach of his midnight to 7:00am curfew. He was arrested and held in custody for court on June 19th, 2024.
