His voice will certainly be familiar to our Sunday Morning listeners, Nolan Kehler. The Canadian Mennonite University student has been accepted into a a very well regarded national opera program. And what is the program? The Opera Nuova Young Artist Development program at King's University in Edmonton.

Nolan will be attending from mid-May until the beginning of July, and we couldn't be happier for him knowing how much hard work he's put in to get to this point.

Ahead of his departure for Edmonton, Nolan is hosting a fundraising concert Sunday night at Altona Mennonite Church to help cover the cost of his tuition, but to also help a local organization.

Before we got to all that, Morning Show Co-Host Chris Sumner asked Nolan to share more about the program.

So of all the musical disciplines he could have pursued, why opera?

Nolan Kehler, one of our own, and we would love for you to check out his fundraising concert Sunday night at Altona Mennonite Church at 7 p.m.

Remember, the money raised will help cover some of his tuition as well as support Build A Village.

Good luck, Nolan! We hope you steal the spotlight at Opera Nuova at King's University in Edmonton.
