The Rivers Jets and MacGregor Wild were winners in the Tiger Hills Hockey League Friday night. Troy Heywood had two goals and an assists as the Jets downed the Melita Bisons 7-4. Maverick Rafter had two goals and an assist as the Wild beat the Carberry Plainsmen 5-2. The Deloraine Royals game against the Elks in Souris was postponed.


Westman High School Hockey League – Josh Archambault had a hat trick in the Killarney/Wawanesa Raiders 7-4 victory over the Vincent Massey Vikings; Tyan Mykula had three goals and two assists as the Swan Valley Tigers beat Glenboro/Carberry/Baldur 7-2; Gatlyn Plett made 30 saves as the Neepawa Tigers doubled up on Reston/Elkhorn/Melita/Pierson 4-2; Kael Maxwell scored the go-ahead goal with eight seconds left as the Roblin/Grandview/Gilbert Plains Raiders shaded Minnedosa/Erickson 6-5 and Joshua Haubrick potted the winner with seven seconds remaining in the third period to lift the Sandy Bay Badgers past Major Pratt 5-4.


Roux Bazin scored Virden’s lone goal in the Oil Capitals 4-1 loss to the OCN Blizzard. Eric Reid made 29 saves.


Connor McClennon scored his second goal of the game two minutes into overtime to lift the Winnipeg Ice past the Brandon Wheat Kings 7-6 at Westoba Place. Evan Friesen notched the tying goal with 2:55 left in regulation for the Ice. Nolan Ritchie had a pair of goals for the Wheat Kings who are 0-7 in overtime games this season.


The Manitoba Moose lost 3-1 to Milwaukee. John Leonard scored twice for the Admirals. Kristian Reichel had the lone goal for the Moose.
