Theft Under $5000

On June 3rd at 9:10 pm Police arrested a 22-year-old female at her residence for two counts of theft under $5000. On May 14th at 4:17 pm a business in the 1200 block of 18th street reported the female had entered their store and stole the tip jar off the counter. The female returned again on June 3rd and did the same thing. She was released for court on August 12th, 2024.

Breach of Peace

On June 3rd at 11:02 pm Police received a call of a disturbance at residence in the 300 block of Lorne Avenue. An intoxicated 55-year-old male was arrested as he was found to be the cause of the issues. He will be released in the morning.

Possession of a Weapon

On June 3rd at 2:28 pm Police conducted a person check in the 800 block of Lorne Avenue. Officers noticed a knife sheath sticking out of a male’s bag. A 37-year-old male was arrested. He was on conditions not to possess any weapons. He was also found to have approx. 25 grams of methamphetamine and 4.5 grams of cocaine. He was held for court on June 4th, 2024.

Arrest Warrants

On June 4th at 00:37 am Police conducted a pedestrian check in the 900 block of Victoria Avenue. A 40-year-old male was arrested as he had an outstanding warrant for failing to attend court. He was held for court on June 4th, 2024.

On June 4th at 01:11 am Police conducted a pedestrian check in the 600 block of Brock Avenue. A 42-year-old female was arrested as she had an outstanding warrant for failing to attend court and breaching her probation. She was held for court on June 4th, 2024.

Impaired driver

On June 4th at 03:30 am Police conducted traffic stop near Durham Drive and Carlton Place. The driver showed signs of impairment and blew a fail on the roadside screening device. The 38-year-old male driver was issued an immediate roadside prohibition, and his vehicle was towed.
