The Portage Terriers have won the Manitoba Junior Hockey League's Turnbull Trophy for the third time in the past four years. Cody Kostecki and Tanner Harms each had a goal and an assist as the Terriers downed the Selkirk Steelers 5-2 on Saturday night in Portage. Shaquille Merasty, Tyler Moore and Kyle Turgeon also scored for the Terriers who took the best-of-seven final in five games. Portage goaltender Kirk Croswell stopped 18 shots. Jory Geddes and Travis Cech replied for the Steelers who won the opening game of the series and then lost four straight. The Terriers will face either the La Ronge Ice Wolves or the Yorkton Terriers for the ANAVET Cup. The Ice Wolves lead the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League final three games to two. Game six goes Sunday in Yorkton.
