The Tiger Hills Hockey League's 29th season began Friday night. The THHL will operate with 14 teams as the Melita Bisons and Neepawa Farmers have joined the Carberry Plainsmen, Cartwright Clippers, Crystal City 49'ers, Deloraine Royals, Gladstone Lakers, Glenboro Nordics, Holland Rockets, Killarney Shamrocks, Pilot Mound Pilots, Souris Elks, Wawanesa Jets and defending champion Swan Lake Cougars.
