The Brandon Wheat Kings gave up three third period goals and dropped a 5-3 decision to the Calgary Hitmen. Riley Reinboldt scored the tying goal at 2:48 of the third. Cody Sylvester got the winner at 11:26 and Danny Gayle scored the insurance marker at the 13:20 mark. Scott Glennie, Hampus Gustafsson and Dominick Favreau replied for the Wheat Kings. Brandon netminder Corbin Boes stopped 24 of 29 shots. The Hitmen won for just the fifth time this season. The Wheat Kings will wrap up their three-game homestand tonight when they meet the Moose Jaw Warriors.
