Failure to Comply

On June 9th at approximately 9:09pm at a business in the 900 block of Victoria Avenue a Police Officer (who was there on an unrelated matter) noticed a 41-year-old female who had a previous condition not to attend said business. The female was arrested and released with a court date of August 8, 2024.

 

Vehicle Collision

On June 9th at 6:39pm a vehicle driven by a 23-year-old female struck a light pole at the 34th St & Willowdale traffic circle. The vehicle had been reported as driving erratically just prior to the collision. Female was transported to Brandon Hospital for assessment as head trauma had occurred due to not wearing a seatbelt. Female’s behavior became increasingly erratic. She was held in custody to be further assessed in the morning.

 

Arrest Warrant Executed

On June 9th at 12:18am police conducted a pedestrian check in the 800 block of Rosser Avenue.  A 30-year-old male was arrested due to not being compliant with his probation. He was held in custody and will appear in court June 10th, 2024.

 

Arrest Warrant Executed

On June 9th at 1:12am Police conducted a pedestrian check in the 100 block of Southern Avenue. A 23-year-old male was arrested as he was found to have an outstanding warrant for failing to attend court. He was held in custody and will attend court June 10th, 2024.  

 

Mischief Under $5000

On June 9th at 2:13am a call came in that a front door window of an establishment in the 1000 block of Brandon Avenue had been smashed out with a hatchet. A 15-year-old male was identified and arrested in the 1000 block of 11th Street. The male was arrested and later released for court on August 19th, 2024.

 

Breach of Release Order

On June 9th Police received a call to a residence on Dennis Street. An 18-year-old female was arrested as she was breaching her release order. She was later released for court on August 5th, 2024.

 

Stolen eBike Returned / Warrants

On June 9th in the 1400 block of 5th Street Police located a 23-year-old male in possession of a stolen bicycle. The male was also found to be the subject of two warrants. He was arrested and later released with a court date of July 8th, 2024.

 

Breach of Peace

On June 9th at 3:44pm a Brandon resident called in stating that an aggressive male was pacing back and forth and walking through people’s yards in the 200 block of 8th Street. Police arrested a 42-year-old male who was highly agitated. The male will be released in the morning.
