On January 17th, 2024, at 12:26 a.m. police were called to a disturbance at a residence in the 700 block of 12th street. Police arrested a 23-year-old male for breach of peace. He was later released.

Theft Under $5000

On January 16th, 2024, police arrested an 18-year-old female for theft under $5000. On January 14th, 2024, a business in the 800 block of First street reported a female had stolen $70 worth of merchandise. The accused was identified by video surveillance.

Break and Enters

On January 16th ,2024 a construction company reported that a temporary construction trailer located under the 18th street bridge was broken into. The theft occurred sometime overnight. Numerous tools were stolen. This incident is still under investigation.

On January 16th at 11:48  a resident in the 3400 block of McDonald Avenue reported that this storage locker was broken into. Personal clothing items and luggage were stolen. This matter is still under investigation.

Arrest Warrant

On January 16th at 10:28 a.m. police were called to the 800 block of Lorne Avenue for a disturbance. Police attended and located a 51-year-old female who had an outstanding arrest warrant for failing to attend court. She was arrested and will appear in court on January 17th, 2024.

Assault with a weapon

On January 16th a 35-year-old male was arrested for assault with a weapon, uttering threats and failing to comply with his release order. On January 10th, 2024 police were called to a business in the 1000 block of 18th street for a male causing a disturbance who had pulled a knife and threatened staff. He fled before police arrived but was later identified on video surveillance. He will appear in court on January 17th, 2024.
