Deloraine Border Festival April 2024:

Entry deadline is Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2024.

Entries forms will be available on the Deloraine Border Festival website HERE!

School classes and individuals may enter competitively for marks and awards or non- competitively. Many classes offer an opportunity for participation from preschool to adult.

Go to to download the 2023 AMAF Provincial Syllabus which has a listing of and information about classes in each of the disciplines. Regulations for recommendation to the Provincial Festival are also found in the Syllabus.

*Please note that older versions of the Syllabus are now out of date. Not all classes are offered locally. Go to to find contact information for coordinators of the piano, visual, instrumental, dance speech, vocal and choral arts as well as specific information about each of the disciplines. Coordinators are very pleased to assist in whatever way they can.

For those interested in entering Speech Arts poetry and prose solo, duet, trio, quartet and speech choir classes contact Lynn Richard: to borrow the Speech Arts Manuals which contain copies of selections required for awards eligibility and provincial recommendation.
