It's Groundhog Day today -- a day we set aside for a very important prediction -- when is SPRING coming!

Groundhog Day has its origin in a German legend about a furry rodent. It roots back to Candlemas Day in Europe with the Christian "festival of lights" that falls on Feb. 2, midway between the start and end of winter. It started up in western Pennsylvania back in 1887 and then, found it's way up to Ontario in 1956 when Wiarton Willie became a household name for his early February weather predictions.
