Minot Mayor Curt Zimbelman

Flood waters have taken a toll on the emotions of residents living in Minot, North Dakota.
Despite 13 members of the North Dakota State Fair staff losing thier homes, they have worked diligently to ensure this year's state fair is a go.
Mayor Curt Zimbelman says the fair is an important part of the city and he's glad to see it will go ahead next month.

Fair manager Renae Korslien adds this year's fair may not be the same size or scale as in year's past, however it will have all of the usuals including concerts, carnival and fair food.
The fair goes July 22-30th.
