Bryant Perrier has signed a contract extension with the Manitoba Junior Hockey League's Neepawa Natives. Perrier, who is in his second season as head coach and general manager of the Natives, is now under contract through the 2013 season.  

 

 

Perrier came to Neepawa after spending 10 years as a head coach and general manager in the British Columbia Hockey League. He has a career coaching record of 403-292-36-30. Last season, Perrier led the Natives to 34 wins and finished 10 games over the .500 mark despite having among the lowest totals of 20 year olds in the league, and one of the youngest teams in the MJHL. The Natives set a franchise record of regular season goals against with 188 in 62 games played.  

 

 

Neepawa is in fifth place in the Sher-Wood Division with a record of 18-16-1-2. The Natives players and coaches are off for the Christmas break. Neepawa's next game is Friday, December 31st at home against the Portage Terriers.
