The Winnipeg Goldeyes will play their 2011 American Baseball Association season opener tonight when they open a four-game series against the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks at Shaw Park. The RedHawks won nine of the 14 games the two teams played last season including five of seven in Winnipeg.
Matt Friesen asked Goldeyes manager Rick Forney how the ball club feels about the 2011 season.
Winnipeg will open an 11-game road trip on Monday, May 17th when they face the Sioux Falls Pheasants.
