Tens of thousands of dollars' worth of stolen property from across Southern Manitoba has been recovered by authorities from a rural property in the RM of Gimli. That includes motor vehicles, generators and commercial tools.
    
During a search warrant executed by Gimli RCMP, Selkirk RCMP and the Manitoba East Division Criminal Response Enforcement Team on Wednesday, police also seized a carbine-style firearm with several rounds of ammunition, and a small amount of meth.

Police say the items were determined stolen from various locations across Southern Manitoba, some from as far away as Steinbach.
    
According to RCMP two men - aged 27 and 63 - and a 42-year-old woman were found on scene and arrested. They now face numerous criminal charges including several charges of Possession of Stolen Property, Possession of a Controlled Substance x2, and numerous firearms-related charges.

“The Manitoba RCMP understands that property crime effects all communities and continues to take steps to combat these types of criminal offences in rural Manitoba,” said Superintendent John Duff, RCMP East District Commander.
    
The investigation continues, and RCMP say they are working to return the items to the rightful owners.
