With the recent retirement of Boissevain's Sunrise Credit Union Branch Manager, Jim Dickinson, an opportunity has opened up in that community.

"Jim Dickinson has been our Branch Manager since Sunrise came to be back in 2008, has retired and we wish Jim all the best as he moves forward," shares President and CEO, Tim Klassen.  "To fill that position the hiring process is taking place with a consulting agency to look for a candidate for a really nice community and an opportunity to run a really nice branch."

Klassen says it takes time to replace management staff, "but we have started to see some movement in trends in people looking for these types of new opportunities of a different lifestyle in a small community.  So, we're very positive that we're going to get a really good candidate."

It could take all of a month or more, adds Klassen, "but it's dependent on the candidate and maybe a little bit of luck.  If the opportunity is right and the timing is right then it could happen quickly, but then it could also take a little longer. So, it could take a month or longer."
