A blockade went up in Southwestern Manitoba this week.

Some members of the Keeseekoowenin First Nation have blocked a
road near Riding Mountain National Park as part of a protest.

They set up barricades on the gravel road, which runs through
reserve land, earlier this week.

Spokesman Barry Bone calls it a peaceful protest.

Band members say they're protesting because people have been
cutting their fishing nets on Clear Lake.
