Neepawa netminder Wendell Vye stopped 26 shots as the Natives held on for a 3-2 victory over the Terriers in Portage. Jordan Palusky, Anthony Nobili and Tripp Emmer did the goal scoring for Neepawa. The Natives, who recorded two wins and a loss on the weekend, are 17-12-0-2 on the season. Neepawa is in fourth place in the Manitoba Junior Hockey League's Sher-Wood Division. The Natives are just six points back of the Terriers and Swan Valley Stampeders who share top spot in the division.
