Update 2- Minnedosa RCMP looking for missing male

On April 20, 2024, items belonging to missing person Jamie Wade were located by Minnedosa RCMP, in a pond in the RM of Oakview.

RCMP Major Crime Services, the Underwater Recovery Team and Forensic Identification Services attended to assist with the investigation and on April 21, 2024, the body of Jamie Wade was located in the water.

An autopsy was conducted and the death was deemed non-criminal.

Update - Minnedosa RCMP looking for missing male

Minnedosa RCMP, along with RCMP Major Crime Services, continue to investigate the disappearance of 55-year-old Jamie Wade.

RCMP units, including Search and Rescue (SAR) and Police Dog Services (PDS), have conducted a preliminary search with negative results. Further intensified searches are currently being planned.

The investigation has uncovered that Wade was last seen, along with his vehicle, at a gas station in Brandon on Friday, October 27, at 6:30 pm. It is believed that from this gas station, Wade returned to his home in the RM of Oakview.

RCMP are asking anyone who may have seen Jamie Wade, and/or anyone with him or anything he may have been carrying on Friday, October 27, in and/or around Brandon, to contact the Minnedosa RCMP at 204-867-2916 or call Manitoba Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477. Minnedosa RCMP looking for missing male

On October 30, 2023, at 4:50 pm, Minnedosa RCMP received a report of a missing 55-year-old male from an address located in the RM of Oakview.

Jamie Wade was last seen on Friday, October 27, at approximately 5 pm.

Wade is described as 5’10”, 120 lbs, with short gray hair, green eyes and wears glasses. He was last seen wearing black jeans and a plaid jacket.
