Lions 42-22 Saturday night in Vancouver. The two-time defending Grey Cup champions racked up 492 yards of offense and improved to 5-0 on the season. Winnipeg will face the 4-0 Calgary Stampeders Friday at IG Field.

Baseball Manitoba's Provincial 11U, 13U & 15U A championships wrap up today in Stonewall, Winkler and Swan River.

The Winnipeg Goldeyes dropped an 11-4 decision to the Sioux City Explorers at Shaw Park. Ian Sagdal had three of the Goldeyes eight hits and extended his hitting streak to nine games. Shane Podsednik had a pair of home runs for the Explorers.
