The Brandon Wheat Kings losing streak has reached 11 games. Matt Fraser and Max Reinhart scored in the shootout as the Kootenay Ice shaded Brandon 3-2 on Teddy Bear Toss Night. Kootenay goaltender Nathan Lieuwen stopped shootout attempts from both Scott Glennie and Michael Ferland. Mark Stone and Shayne Wiebe scored second period powerplay goals for the Wheat Kings who will host the Prince Albert Raiders on Sunday.
