The Brandon Wheat Kings losing streak has reached five games. Killian Hutt scored a powerplay goal at 4:28 of overtime to lift the Swift Current Broncos past Brandon 3-2. Michael Ferland and Ryan Pulock did the goal scoring for the Wheat Kings. Brandon netminder Corbin Boes stopped 31 shots. The Wheat Kings will wrap up their three-game road trip Friday in Moose Jaw and then play host to the Warriors on Saturday. Brandon is in fourth place in the Western Hockey League's East Division with a record of 11-15-1-1.
