Stolen bike and possession of bolt-cutters solidifies theft - Brandon Police May 5th Report
Endorsed Warrant arrest leads to Weapons charge Just after midnight, on Sunday morning, Police conducted a person’s check in the 1900 block of Richmond Ave. The 34-year-old male was found to have an outstanding endorsed Warrant of Arrest for Failing to Attend Court. At the time of the arrest a knife was located in the sleeve of his clothing and the Brandon man subsequently charged with carrying a concealed weapon. He will appear in Court today. Possession of Stolen Property At 3:01am, a female suspect on a bike attempted to evade Police when they tried to stop her in the 100 block of 13th St. The suspect was eventually stopped a few blocks later, and the bike she was on was determined to be stolen. The 29-year-old female from Brandon was also found to be in possession of some bolt cutters. She was released on an Undertaking with a Court date in July.
